It's not even close in benchmarks, consumes less power, and plenty of dual fan designs for the 1080 TI are on the market which means it will run way quieter. The freesync capabilities that pair up with Vega 64 would not make up for the lopsided comparisons to the 1080 TI, IMO. But in that sense, when compared with the 1080 Ti, powered by the 471mm 2 GP102, Vega 64 still consumes more power.
